Every Year when I am at the State Fair in the Pioneer Village I watch the ladies hooking rugs and tell myself I am going to find time to do that myself.
Well I have an opportunity to do just that. There is an open event of Rug Hookers who will be at the Camp Camby Conference and Retreat Center location Camby Rd (700S) intersection of State Rd 67 and Camby Rd Stop Light can't miss it. Going North on 67 turn left the center is on the right side of the road well marked. Lots of Brick Bldgs don't know the age of the center.
There will be Old and New Hookers (excuse the punt) There will be all the supplies that you will need to Hook a Rug and classes for learning their technique of the experts.

I am a bit envious of your time to create. I know my time will come, but like most younger folk (can I still call myself "young" at 48?), my patience is kind of short about things like this! So much to do and so little time! Enjoy embracing your creative spirit!
