Corn Beef

As I  said last week I would post the corn beef.  I really enjoy it since I can buy it at the grocery store.  Corn beef is on sale in most stores as the demand for the new year corn beef  and cabbage ritual for new years day is over.  For several years I would  cure my own in salt and spices and it took 10 days.  I would check on it every day.  My late MIL gave me the recipe she used all her life and it was good.  Today you can go to grocery store and buy one and in 3 to 4 hours sit down to dinner.    The macaroni in the picture is from a post of TwoMaidsaMilking  last week where she used uncooked pasta and it turned out great.  I have made Lasagna with uncooked pasta  and it works fine.  Saves time and I know we are all busy.

 This morning I awoke to this storm  It isn't a normal thing to have a thunderstorm in Jan or Feb. always to cold.  Well the last time I remember having a thunderstorm in Feb. we had snow in June didn't last long because it was too warm. We had crops planted and seed sprouted.  Didn't do any damage.
