Ice and Snow

I must admit that the ice and snow really are beautiful.       I went  out   about  8:00 last night and it was  light out  the ice balls were like walking in 2 inches of snow.   Then  it rained as the temperature went to 35 and this morning it was a frozen mess.  Some day this will all melt.  I hope everyone can make it to the Fish Fry at the Fairgrounds on Sat as last year it was deep drifting snow.   But some of  those Purdue folks went through 3 foot drifts to get there and some never made the drive

    Great pics. Hope you are safe and warm tonight. They say the temperature is going to drop into the single digits.

    We had the sleet, but it only layered itself in the snow without layering on the wires and plants. Then there was the six inch "dusting' we received yesterday! OYE! We have alps in the barn lot! ;-) Checking the drifts too and clearing out one that might be seen as a bridge by certain four-legged critters out back!
