corn bales from harvest

So far this seems to be a long winter keeping these girls happy and well fed  and healthy for they are expecting their calves in the next  30 days.  We round baled some corn stocks not knowing what the winter was going to be like.  These pictures are when a corn bale was unrolled in the field behind the house.  While I was watching the cows there were several wild turkeys wandering around the field.    If I get a chance I will get some pictures I guess they are cleaning up after the cows.  One thing they don't eat as much.

    Great pictures! Can't wait to see the turkeys. One or two in the freezer might be nice! ;-) I'm sure, though, they wouldn't be as good as Miss Katie's from On the Banks of Squaw Creek!
