We finally got a little rain maybe enough to take the edge off the stressed plants. The pastures are still green but it doesn't take long for they to go brown. You want some growth going into August which is always the driest months for us. We usually have to move cattle from one pasture to the other and sometimes feed hay. It has been a good year for hay. Can never have too much.
Still working on those Roosters and Rabbits for the fairs.
This year as before I will have some of my gourds in the FFA Country Market at the State Fair.
FFA sells a lot of merchandise at the state fair from food, lotions, gourds and many other products all of these are made in Indiana. Maybe this helps off set some of their expenses.
