This weekend has been spent getting ready for my sister who is coming from Nevada to spend a few days with us. Seems like there is always something to do when company comes so I will take her and her husband along. We will go to the Speedway on Friday and Sat we have our Queen contest for our County Fair. Always fun to see who will get to be Queen we have 16 girls this year.
I am trying to get a few more pieces painted for our space in the merchants Bldg at the County Fair. Our Fair runs the 1st week August.
We run into the State Fair not a good thing for the 4-H projects animals or indoor projects. Last year was the 1st year for the State Fair new schedule. We make it through that so I guess we just hang in there and see where this goes. There are a few other fairs that have this problem Good luck to all 4-H exhibitors.
When I get the hang of it I will post pictures I had better take some so I will have them to post.
I can't imagine having a county fair overlap with state fair! We are having issues because school starts before state fair is over. :(
ReplyDeleteOur fair starts Thursday. Pray that we can keep all the animals cool in the forecasted heat wave. Katie, our schools start before the State Fair ends too!! UGH@
