| This is our tree that died. It has been going down hill for 30 years. My late Father in Law would tell me how it was dying . This year it is brown where there were pine needles Hated to give it up . When the tree was in good growth the birds would have as many as 30 nests in that tree. The power lines were on one side and our house was on the other. | |

Maybe planting another tree to take its place would be fun to watch grow!
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see a piece of one's memories leave. So sad to see a piece of Mother die. The wood doesn't look rotten from here but I know that just like in the book, The Giving Tree, she will give her all and she loved you.

ReplyDeleteIt's always sad when an old threes like this are dying, but sometimes you just have to cut them down for the safety of everybody else.

Sigh..... I always hate to see a tree go down. Hopefully another will grow in its place someday soon!
