Corn and Raccoons

This is what the raccoons are doing to our corn fields.   Sunday was the first I noticed but each day the places get bigger.  Maybe by the time  harvest is here it will all be on the ground.    As you can see there isn't any thing for them to eat so they just keeping  tearing down each stall looking for a good ear.  On hot summer nights you could usually smell the corn but not this year  I guess it is too dry.  I haven't experienced such a time   I am sure a lot of us are in the same boat.  The rain keeps moving closer got within a mile of us today.  Maybe tomorrow but until then keep praying for rain  and take care of yourself.
