Leaf Recycling

For the last 3 years I have recycled leaves that the Community Correction Workers  rake and bag on our Court House lawn.   Easy way to get the leaves without doing all that labor.  I probably hauled home 40 bags and have put them in my flower gardens and even used them in Zeus's dog house.  The rest of these bags were emptied into the dog pen that no one uses.  Next year when we plow the garden some will go into the soil.  Amends the soil and leaves it loose and easy to work  Also keeps down the weeds.  So what does your county do with the leaves??    Maybe you can find some for free.  I know some of the people in town can't burn in the city and bag them for the trash man to take away. I have ask to take them  They are happy to get rid of them.   

Hope everyone gets to enjoy some of this beautiful weather because we know it won't last much longer  but this is Indiana so you never know.  

 Last week we had a funeral to attend and this week there are two.  It is sad to loose people that you have known most of your life. I have always said there is a higher power that guides our lives.Take care!!
